Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors. You will bridge customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors for diverse enterprise environments.

This role blends data engineering, software engineering, and solution architecture, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and time-to-production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/data/ platform engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Proven ability to design and consume REST APIs.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Comfort with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD.
• Excellent debugging, customer-facing communication, and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources (IdPs, cloud, SASE, networks, endpoints, apps, SIEM).
• Work with customers to map environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Deploy production-grade ingestion architectures for high-volume data.
• Build with Python and/or Go; use SQL/NoSQL to store and query data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments; optimize reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, sales, CS, product, and engineering; share insights.
