Cargill seeks a Senior Consultant for Data Management and Governance to ensure accuracy, security and effective use of complex data. With minimal supervision, you will develop, implement and govern policies to ensure regulatory compliance while increasing the data's value.

You will lead data governance initiatives across the organization, guiding data lifecycle management, quality controls, and operational improvements with data stewards and IT teams.

Formación

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• STRATEGIC PLANNING: Develops data management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• DATA STORAGE, INTEGRATION & CONSUMPTION: Defines standards for data storage, in transit and use.
• DATA STANDARDS: Develops and governs data standards across data domains.
• DATA QUALITY: Sets quality standards and audits to ensure data standards are met.
• POLICY DEVELOPMENT & GOVERNANCE: Leads development and alignment of data governance policies.
• DATA OPERATIONS & STEWARDSHIP: Improves operations to reduce data quality defects.
• DATA LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT: Manages data from initiation to decommissioning with compliance.
• COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT: Implements governance processes to mitigate risk.
• DATA LITERACY & TRAINING: Develops training programs to improve data literacy and accountability.
• DATA MODELING: Guides visual representation of data relationships.
