Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge enterprise customers with the engineering team. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, build connectors, and ensure reliability and security in diverse cloud environments.

You will work closely with customers to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions, leveraging Python/Go and modern architectures while delivering value quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Strong background in Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding processes from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources such as security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and querying.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
