FullStack is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our network and work with US clients on flexible, project-based engagements (Databricks + AI/ML). You will collaborate with client teams daily to design and build scalable data pipelines and data platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python, experience with Databricks, cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and a background in ML workflow support. This is a 100% remote role with growth opportunities.

• Minimum 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.

• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on Databricks experience and familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows and data prep.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Senior Data Engineer (Databricks + AI/ML).

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Hands-on experience working with Databricks and its data engineering capabilities.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, including preparing and transforming data for machine learning models.
• Familiarity with ML pipelines, feature engineering, model training workflows, or MLOps practices.
• Proven experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Strong background in SQL and data modeling.
• Demonstrated experience working with Python or similar programming languages for data engineering.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data quality, performance optimization, monitoring, and reliability.
• Familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark, and Databricks workflows.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
