Job summary

Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to partner with traders, Product Owners, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver data-driven solutions across Chevron's global Supply & Trading organization.

You will lead requirements gathering, validate designs with dashboards and reports, support self-service analytics, and ensure data quality, UAT, and business sign-off through close collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role supporting data, analytics, reporting, or BI solutions.
• Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation of business and functional requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar BI platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL for data exploration, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting with relational databases.
• Ability to develop and validate report, dashboard, and data model mock-ups for solution design.
• Experience coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder sign-off.

Successful candidates will join the center, which is part of a multifunction service and technical center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.Overview:The Trading Insights Data Analyst partners with business stakeholders, traders, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to deliver data-driven solutions that support decision-making across Chevron's global Supply & Trading organization.
