Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge customers and engineering. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors, ingesting data from complex enterprise environments while ensuring reliability and security.

You will work with Python and/or Go, build REST API integrations, and collaborate with customers to understand data sources, security requirements, and workflows for production-ready deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong software development with Python and Go.
• Experience designing REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments and data flows for integration constraints.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go; work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment issues across APIs, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Collaborate with architects, sales engineering, and product teams.
• Provide technical guidance on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
