CKH Group is seeking a disciplined Controller - Bookkeeper to own daily accounting operations in a high-volume, multi-entity setup. You will perform daily bank reconciliations, produce sales reports, and run a daily close while coordinating with intercompany activities across locations tracked in QuickBooks Online.

This role emphasizes routine, precision, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven optimization of workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• Proven, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
• Direct experience with intercompany transactions in a company accustomed to managing them.
• Comfort working with multiple bank accounts and foreign-currency payments.
• Excellent English (written and spoken), for communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a high volume of daily bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.
• Produce and deliver a daily sales report.
• Run a daily close, in addition to full monthly reconciliations.
• Process contractor invoices and vendor invoices.
• Review, process, and forward expenses from multiple sources.
• Manage intercompany cost allocations across entities (locations are tracked within QuickBooks Online).
• Handle payments in foreign currency and across multiple banks / payment platforms.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized records.
• Understand the underlying business transactions, not just book them and flag anything that looks off.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and resolve issues proactively.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements, automation, and optimizations.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Controller - Bookkeeper to own the day-to-day accounting operations of a high-transaction-volume, multi-entity business. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role built around a strict daily cadence: bank reconciliations, daily sales reporting, and a daily close, on top of monthly reconciliations and intercompany work. The ideal candidate thrives on routine, precision, and consistency, and is constantly looking for ways to automate and streamline processes including through AI tools.

This role runs on structure and consistency. The daily cadence is what keeps our finances accurate and reliable so we're looking for someone who enjoys routine, thrives on discipline, and sees getting the details right as a genuine win.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of daily bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional discipline, consistency, and attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive, routine work performed to a high standard every day.
• Strong reporting skills and technological fluency — comfortable building and maintaining reports.
• Experience or strong interest in AI tools to automate and optimize accounting workflows.
• A resourceful, problem-solving mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Excellent English (written and spoken), for communication with internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Hands‑on experience using AI tools in an accounting or finance context.
• Experience with automation / workflow tools such as Zapier, Make, or similar.
• Experience with tools such as Expensify, Gusto, or similar.
• Experience working with US-based companies or clients.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
