Bechtel is seeking an experienced engineer to manage environmental permits and regulatory compliance for a major project in Argentina. The role involves coordinating between engineering teams and authorities to ensure design and construction align with national and provincial regulations.

The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, high voltage experience, and the ability to communicate across English and Spanish-speaking teams, with extensive field construction exposure.

Formación

• Electrical engineer degree and ten years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• High voltage experience in mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental permits for the Argentina project.
• Act as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities to translate requirements into verifiable criteria.
• Ensure design, planning and field activities comply with applicable regulations and client standards.
• Coordinate with project management to report status of environmental permits and related functions.
