Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) style backend specialist for Argentina. The role is remote with a focus on scalable, high-performance NestJS services and robust data models, collaborating with frontend, product, and design teams.

You will own backend design decisions, implement complex financial workflows, and mentor junior engineers. English and Spanish fluency are required for daily communication with the distributed team.

Job description

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• 7+ years of professional Node.js development experience
• Extensive experience with NestJS framework
• 6+ years of professional experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Fluency in English & Spanish (Must). The team primarily communicates in Spanish, so strong written and verbal Spanish skills are essential.
• Proven track record of designing scalable, high-performance backend systems
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Expertise in database optimization and performance tuning
• Comprehensive knowledge of backend testing methodologies
