AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing in an Agile sprint environment, with 4+ years of backend experience in Java or Python.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing systems, integrate with Salesforce APIs including EVO and Omnichannel, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment. The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration expertise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
• Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).

MUST HAVES
