AgileEngine in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform.

You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, work in an Agile sprint environment using Java or Python, and bring 4+ years of backend experience to a team that values autonomy and remote-friendly work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in Java or Python.
• REST API integration and webhook development experience.
• Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows.

• Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing systems, integrate with Salesforce APIs including EVO and Omnichannel, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment. The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration expertise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
• Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience in Backend engineering: Java OR Python.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Backend engineering: Java or Python. REST API integration and webhook development Salesforce platform development or API integration experience. Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems. Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.
