Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate a cloud infrastructure for a modern Identity Security platform. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools in a high-scale, remote LATAM environment.

You’ll contribute to platform engineering, improve automation, security, and developer productivity, and own production infrastructure with architectural input and incident response involvement.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on with AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes / EKS.
• IaC with Terraform.
• Docker and containerized environments.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar.
• Linux administration.
• Configuration management with Ansible.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, ELK.
• Networking concepts: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls.
• Security best practices in cloud/infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Create Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning, config, and deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
• Improve observability across infra and apps.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Automate recurring operational tasks.
• Apply AWS and Kubernetes security best practices.
• Collaborate with Security to strengthen platform security.
• Improve platform resilience and cloud cost efficiency.
• Automate OS and infra config with Ansible.
• Develop tooling with Python and Bash.
• Collaborate on platform architecture and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate new DevOps and platform technologies.
