Job summary

Darwoft, a Latin American software partner, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate a scalable cloud platform for a cybersecurity product. You will own AWS/EKS deployments, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and observability across microservices.

Remote LATAM with strong ownership and collaboration culture. You will work with a broad stack including AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and security best practices, shaping platform engineering and cost

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS production experience.
• Kubernetes/EKS expertise.
• Terraform IaC experience.
• Docker and containerized environments.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Linux administration.
• Ansible for configuration management.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Networking: VPCs, subnets, LB, DNS, VPNs, firewalls.
• Security practices and FinOps awareness.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop IaC using Terraform.
• Manage workloads on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning and deployment.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Operate Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Enhance observability across infra and apps.
• Participate in incident response and RCA.
• Automate OS and infra configuration with Ansible.
• Develop tooling in Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen infra security.
• Improve platform resilience and cloud cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new DevOps and platform tech.
