Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while performing manual and exploratory testing. You’ll ensure robust test coverage, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and improve testability across platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and testing Electron/React Native apps on real devices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.
