Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect - LATAM to lead tax technology implementations and governance across ERP systems in ARG, CL, CRI, MX. You will design and validate tax requirements, coordinate with tax and technology teams, and help optimize tax reporting in the LATAM region.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and fluent English, plus strong analytical and ERP tax expertise. Based in Rosario, Argentina, with regional scope across LATAM.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements and statutory configuration in current technologies.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including gathering local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following a go live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Support with building and the maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as the monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.

The Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect will focus on technology implementations, governance and enhancements of tax elements in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and improvements of tax processes within the LATAM region. With limited supervision, this job develops tax solutions and advice on tax requirements in ERP systems. In this role you will work in close liaison with the wider tax team and connect with the technology deployment, sustain & optimize teams, collaborate with DT&D to contribute to efficient tax determination and resulting reporting processes.
