Job summary

Fluor is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support substation and line construction on mining projects in Argentina. You will provide technical support, interpret design documents, and help implement the project quality program while coordinating with design engineers and site teams.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree and 10 years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
High Voltage experience in mining projects.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic.
Oral and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist craftspeople, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support construction managers and contractors.
Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely design document flow.
Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when quality is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
Other duties as assigned.
