Job summary

EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to architect, build, and run autonomous agent systems at scale. You will make key architectural decisions spanning runtime, memory, identity, tools, and observability for production AI systems.

Responsibilities include leading adoption of AWS Bedrock AgentCore and Strands SDK, creating memory-management systems, and building MCP servers and tool integrations that agents rely on. Strong Python and English at B2 level are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production software with at least 1 year deploying LLM-based agents.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with agentic frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock AgentCore components or ability to learn quickly.
• Solid grasp of MCP, tool use, prompt/context engineering, memory architectures, and evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems for building, deploying, and running autonomous agents across runtime, memory, identity, tools, and observability.
• Lead adoption of AWS Bedrock AgentCore and Strands SDK for production rollouts.
• Create long-term memory and context-management systems for multi-step engagements.
• Develop MCP servers and tool integrations used by agents (recon tools, scanners, exploits, internal services).
• Improve reliability, cost-efficiency, and speed of agent reasoning.
• Establish standards for evaluations, tracing, and guardrails.
