StaffRight Careers seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel reporting. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with US-based companies or international standards preferred.
• Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes using QuickBooks Online and maintain the general ledger.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for stakeholders.
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support full-cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel reporting. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who can manage day-to-day accounting functions while contributing to financial analysis, compliance, and operational decision-making. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to accounting standards.

This role is open to all candidates in the Philippines and all over Latin America.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes using QuickBooks Online, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and accurate documentation of supporting records
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while monitoring cash flow and tracking receivables and payables
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal stakeholders
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data, generate reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance-related documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and improve accounting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls

Who We’re Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role
• Experience working with US-based companies or international accounting standards preferred
• Strong working experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience supporting month-end close processes and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial work
• Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)
• Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer

Technical Requirements:

• Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor)
• Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
• Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
• Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
