Job summary

Netrix Global in Buenos Aires, Argentina is seeking a Security Analyst to monitor, triage, and investigate security events across client environments using Elastic SIEM. You will identify threats, validate incidents, and escalate high‑risk activity to protect client information assets.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Security Operations, IT, and other teams, development of detection rules, and documentation of investigations and lessons learned to improve security posture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to incidents in a SOC.
• Experience with Elastic SIEM or similar SIEM.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Understanding Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and IOCs.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events across networks, endpoints, and cloud.
• Investigate and validate potential incidents, including malware and phishing.
• Perform initial triage, classification, and prioritization of alerts.
• Support incident response with evidence collection and escalation.
• Correlate logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, web servers, endpoints, and cloud.
• Develop and tune detection rules, dashboards, and alerts in Elastic SIEM.
• Leverage threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities.
• Document investigations, findings, responses, and lessons learned.
• Produce metrics and reports on threat trends and activity.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, IT, and other teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
