San Carlos Unified School District is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and students at the high school level. The role includes routine cleaning, building security, and basic maintenance with a 12-month term.

Candidates must pass a fingerprint clearance, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet the educational requirement of a High School Diploma or GED. Salary is DOE and reflects local market norms.

Formación

• Experience in custodian duties and at least one year preferred.
• Must pass background check and obtain AZ DPS fingerprint clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean, including sidewalks and areas.
• Regulates heat, ventilation, and air conditioning for comfort and efficiency.
• Checks daily that exit doors are open and panic hardware works during occupancy.
• Raises and lowers the US flag if assigned; manages flag procedures daily.
• Sweeps or vacuums rooms daily and performs custodial chores and supplies management.
• Cleans corridors, chalkboards, sinks, toilets; ensures towels and tissue are stocked.
• Washes windows inside and outside at least twice per year.
• Reports major repairs promptly to the Supervisor.
• Open/close buildings and ensure security of doors/windows when leaving.
