ExxonMobil in Buenos Aires is seeking a SAP Functional Business Analyst to design, build, and support SAP applications with a focus on tax processes across the Global IT landscape.

The role requires SAP experience (S4 HANA or ECC 6) with knowledge of TAX: SD and MM, strong finance and accounting understanding, and advanced English skills. Onsite work is required at Puerto Madero offices in Argentina.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (must be graduated).
• SAP experience (S4 HANA or ECC 6) with knowledge in TAX: SD, MM.
• Understanding of Finance & Accounting, OtC and/or PtP processes.
• Advanced English skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at Puerto Madero offices.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and clarify functional specifications, perform analysis, resolve issues, and coordinate implementation of SAP solutions for the Financial Applications, Revenue Accounting, Taxes, Procurement, or P2P teams.
• Lead improvement activities and implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience within SAP, including changing configuration/variants, debugging/troubleshooting issues, working with related business and IT contacts, documenting design change specifications, tracking testing plans/results, coordinating implementation, following up on post-implementation, and updating system documentation.
• Support small work items and projects by gathering and translating business requirements to develop functional specifications for ABAP programmers to implement.
• Perform IT testing and support integrated testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Effectively communicate to customers and regularly provide status updates and progress of work being performed.
• Maintain system documentation, including instructions, S&C, design, and testing documents following knowledge management best practices.
• Interact with other IT teams to identify and fix data quality issues and errors.

Role Overview

As a SAP Functional Business Analyst you will design, build, support, and drive process improvements to SAP applications for a wide variety of business users located globally. The TAX SAP Analyst role is responsible for providing financial business process solutions and support in SAP systems (Corporate, Downstream, Chemicals & Upstream) for tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (must be graduated).
• SAP experience (S4 HANA or ECC 6) is a must with knowledge in TAX: SD, MM, in order to design integrated solutions for transactional taxes such as VAT and excise, and to create designs for related legal reporting.
• Understanding of Finance & Accounting, OtC and/or PtP processes.
• Ability to work internally with teams to gather requirements and recommend solutions, and across teams with different technical and functional co‑dependent skill sets.
• Desired knowledge on requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods.
• Basic debugging and strong root‑cause analysis skills.
• Advanced English skills.
• Willingness to work onsite (Puerto Madero offices).
