Dollar General is seeking a store associate to assist customers and maintain stock levels in a fast-paced retail environment. You will unload deliveries, build and rotate displays, and help customers locate merchandise.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling transactions, and ensuring the front end is clean and inviting. Prior cashier experience and knowledge of safety practices are a plus.

Formación

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and rotate displays on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating items and answer questions.
• Operate the cash register and total customer purchases.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and organized; greet customers.
