Welo Global is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with strong Python expertise and a focus on NLP to join our team in the finance/fintech domain. You will build and deploy ML models for document understanding, implement fuzzy matching, and process documents using OCR/PDF/excel data.

Responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering production-ready REST APIs via Docker and Azure ML.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience applying NLP to document understanding in finance/fintech.
• Proven ability to build and deploy ML models to production.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ML models for document understanding and processing.
• Use Python data stack for data manipulation and analysis.
• Apply NLP techniques with spaCy, NLTK, or transformers.
• Implement fuzzy matching for data accuracy.
• Process documents via OCR, PDF parsing, and Excel extraction.
• Deploy ML models as REST APIs using Docker and Azure ML.
• Design data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Lead technical discussions and help bring solutions into production.
