Entrepreneur Cooperative seeks a Senior Video Editor to shape visual storytelling for North American universities. This fully remote role collaborates with designers, writers, and strategists to craft ads, brand content, and campaigns across YouTube, social platforms, and paid media.

The candidate will edit and optimize video content, enhance quality with color and sound, and implement motion graphics for engagement. Fluency in English and 3+ years of experience are required.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in agency/media/marketing teams.
• Experience editing ads and brand storytelling content.
• Strong storytelling with pacing and audience engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality via color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.

In this role, you will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns . You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content tailored for platforms like YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns . As part of the agency’s expansion into Latin America, you’ll play a key role in shaping video content strategies and ensuring seamless execution across projects.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.

• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.

• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.

• Optimize videos for different platforms , ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.

• Collaborate with creative teams —designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.

• Manage video files and organize assets , ensuring structured workflows and version control.

• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.

• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.

• Ensure timely delivery of final assets , accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferable in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

• Strong storytelling ability , with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.

• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).

• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.

• Highly organized —able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Fluent English communication skills , with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.

• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.

• Comfort presenting work and discussing revisions with clients.
