Superprof is a dynamic remote-friendly agency seeking a Senior Video Editor to work with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality output for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

You have 3+ years of agency or marketing video experience, with advanced skills in Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency or marketing team.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads and brand storytelling for digital campaigns.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and color grading.
• Fluent English; able to collaborate with US-based teams.

• Optimize videos for different platforms , ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels.

• Collaborate with creative teams —designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.

• Manage video files and organize assets , ensuring structured workflows and version control.

• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.

• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.

• Ensure timely delivery of final assets , accounting for internal and client review steps.

Is This You?

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

• Strong storytelling ability , with a clear understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.

• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).

• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.

• Highly organized —able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Fluent English communication skills , with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.

• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with education, technology, corporate, or mission-driven brands.

• Understanding of social media engagement strategies for video.

• Comfort presenting work and discussing revisions with clients.
