Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Application Observability & Readiness (Azure) to advance monitoring, tracing, and reliability across cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with global teams to design dashboards, implement APM instrumentation, and drive SRE practices in a remote environment.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/Cloud Operations, hands-on DBT/Databricks/SQL, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations or related roles.
Mandatory 1 year hands-on with DBT, Databricks and SQL.
Experience with Azure IaaS environments and cloud-native architectures.
Hands-on with observability, monitoring, reliability practices and APM tools.

Responsibilities

Design and implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and APM instrumentation across applications and services.
Lead implementation and optimization of APM solutions.
Apply observability best practices using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, New Relic, and Log Analytics (KQL).
Enable code-level instrumentation, distributed tracing, and structured logging for visibility and reliability.
Define SLIs, SLOs, and effective alerting strategies based on latency, errors, traffic and saturation.
Improve monitoring and alerting through production insights and incident learnings.
Participate in production readiness reviews to identify risks before deployment.
Support incident analysis and post-incident improvements through telemetry.
