Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain full-stack features for a production healthcare platform, including AI-powered capabilities. The initial project is 3 months with potential extension based on performance.

Requires 2+ years of full-stack experience, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, RPC, AWS, and AI tool experience, with upper-intermediate English. Healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with strong depth in frontend or backend.
• Experience with modern AI technologies and applying LLMs to development processes and real-world product challenges.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, RPC-based architectures, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive or regulated data (healthcare, fintech, or similar) preferred.
• A strong sense of ownership and willingness to overcome challenges with energy, regardless of complexity.
• Experience using remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• Strong communication skills and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, Postgres, RPC-based services), using modern AI within a production healthcare platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and leverage AI/LLM capabilities to improve real-world outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The mandatory requirements are 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, RPC, AWS, hands‑on AI development tools and production LLM integration experience, strong communication, ownership, and quality focus, with upper‑intermediate English. Healthcare experience is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain full‑stack features across frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, Postgres, RPC‑based services), using modern AI within a production healthcare platform.

MUST HAVES

• 2+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with strong depth in either frontend or backend.
• Experience with modern AI technologies and an interest in applying LLMs and automation to development processes and real‑world product challenges.
• Hands‑on experience with technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, RPC‑based architectures, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive or regulated data (healthcare, fintech, or similar) preferred.
• A strong sense of ownership and willingness to overcome every challenge with the same level of energy, regardless of the complexity or the end goal.
• Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g. Github, Slack, JIRA).
• Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal effectiveness, in one‑on‑one interactions and presenting to a room.
• A deep sense of quality and attention to detail.
• Strong software engineering foundation and experience.
