Job summary

Abstra is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer for a remote, contractor role (~15 hours per week).

You will contribute to AI training projects focusing on software development, debugging, code evaluation, and problem-solving. Responsibilities include building front-end and back-end features, APIs, data models, and integrating across unfamiliar codebases; and reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end.
• Proficiency with APIs, databases, and debugging.
• Ability to read and adapt unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug front-end and back-end applications.
• Build features, APIs, services, and data models.
• Understand and work across unfamiliar codebases.
• Troubleshoot application, API, database, and integration issues.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Translate and adapt software builds between programming languages.
