Job summary

vidIQ is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer for a remote, contractor role (~15 hours/week). You will own product surfaces end to end, build frontend and backend APIs, and shape data flows.

Expect to work across stacks, review AI-generated code, and contribute to AI-powered experiences in a fast-moving, global team. You have 5+ years of experience, strong TypeScript/React skills, and comfort with API design, databases, and performance optimization.

• Frontend-leaning role with ability to design APIs and work across stack.
• You communicate clearly, own projects, and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug front-end and back-end applications.
• Build features, APIs, services, and data models.
• Understand and work across unfamiliar codebases.
• Troubleshoot application, API, database, and integration issues.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Translate and adapt software builds between programming languages.
