Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors. You will bridge enterprise customers with engineering, designing scalable ingestion mechanisms and connectors to ingest information into a security-focused platform.

You will work across cloud environments, APIs, security architectures, and complex data sources, combining data engineering, software engineering, and technical consulting to enable fast time-to-production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data eng
• Proficient in Python and Go
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on with data ingestion pipelines
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• CI/CD practices
• Experience with customer-facing projects

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, network infra, endpoints, apps, security platforms, and SIEM systems
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs and security requirements
• Participate from discovery to deployment in onboarding processes
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events, logs, identity activity, and network telemetry
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and query high-volume data
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Troubleshoot complex customer deployments across layers
• Optimize ingestion performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as technical advisor
• Transform customer requirements into reusable connectors and platform capabilities
• Contribute to product roadmap with real-world insights
• Support production adoption and time-to-value
