Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion and integrations to join our cybersecurity project with an Identity Security platform. You will design connectors, ingestion pipelines, and scalable services, collaborating with customers to understand their environments.

You will work with Python/Go, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker and Kubernetes, and participate in end-to-end deployment, ensuring reliability and security in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering or related experience.
• Strong development with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems.
• SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Cloud experience: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Production-ready distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources (security events, logs, network telemetry).
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and querying.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues across data layers.
• Improve ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
