Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors. You will bridge enterprise customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors across cloud platforms.

You'll work with Python and/or Go, build with Docker and Kubernetes, and deploy on AWS, Azure, and GCP, while coordinating with multiple teams to deliver reliable data integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and connector frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.
• Strong communication and autonomous problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEMs.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and queries.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment issues across application, infrastructure, networking, API, and data layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
• Identify recurring customer requirements and build reusable connectors or platform features.
• Contribute technical insights to product roadmap and time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions and onsite engagements.
