AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations for a GTM data platform. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, work with Java or Python in an Agile sprint, and contribute to AI-enabled sales tooling with CRM automation.
This role requires 4+ years of backend experience and is remote-friendly, with Jira-driven delivery and global collaboration.

The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration expertise.
- Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
- Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
- Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
- Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
- Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).
- 4+ years of experience in Backend engineering: Java OR Python.
