Veralto is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join our global SAM team, supporting licensing decisions, renewals and compliance across LATAM and international regions. You will manage licensing requests, analyze entitlements, and collaborate with IT, Procurement and Finance to optimize software usage.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud/SaaS), and fluency in English and Spanish.

Software Asset Management Specialist | Regional LAC Role

About the Role

Join WSP's global Software Asset Management team and contribute to the management of a large and complex software portfolio across Latin America and other international regions.

We are looking for a Software Asset Management Specialist with hands‑on experience in software licensing and the ability to operate effectively in a high‑volume, multivendor environment.

This role is part of Innovation & Technology - Infrastructure Technology & Operations and reports to the SAM Hub Leader. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams, software publishers and regional/global stakeholders to support accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and software optimization.

WSP manages a diverse software environment involving hundreds of publishers, different licensing models and frequently changing operational priorities. Success in this position requires technical licensing knowledge, strong attention to detail and the ability to move quickly between different requests and publisher requirements.

Your Impact

  • Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
  • Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
  • Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
  • Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
  • Manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Hands‑on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, including node‑locked, concurrent/floating, named‑user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
  • Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
  • Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
  • Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time‑sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between different publishers and requests.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy when interpreting licensing information.
  • Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, professional services or another environment with specialized technical software.
  • Experience working in a global or regional organization.
  • Exposure to SAM/ITAM platforms such as Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow SAM or equivalent solutions.
  • Knowledge of ITIL‑aligned processes and service‑level management.
  • Relevant ITIL, IAITAM, ServiceNow or similar certification is a plus.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director, Process & Policy Excellence, the HR Process Owner is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end lifecycle of global HR functional processes, including Standard Work documentation, implementation, adoption, measurement, controls, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Centers of Excellence, HR Shared Services, HR, business leaders, Legal, IT, data/privacy partners, and regional stakeholders to optimize and govern global HR processes that drive consistent, high‑quality talent outcomes across Veralto.

This position is part of the HR Shared Services / HR Policy & Process Excellence team, located in LATAM, and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Translating global process design, policy intent, and business outcomes into scalable process standards, decision frameworks, operating routines, and clear execution requirements.
  • Owning lifecycle execution for assigned global HR processes, which may include Compensation Planning, Performance Management, Talent Assessment, Equity nomination, and Benefits Annual Enrollment processes.
  • Managing project plans, operating cadences, daily management routines, stakeholder follow‑ups, risk and issue tracking, and escalations to ensure milestones and deliverables are completedtimely, accurately, and compliantly at scale.
  • Establishing andmaintainingprocess governance, including decision rights, intake and prioritization routines, approval pathways, version control, audit routines, escalation mechanisms, KPI reporting, and alignment to legal, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.
  • Partnering with Workday Solutions Architecture, IT, HR Shared Services, and Data & Application teams to enable scalable process design, automation, reporting, data quality, release management, and outbound integrations.
  • Building andmaintainingStandard Work, knowledge content, training materials, job aids, quick‑reference guides, playbooks, controls, and process maps that enable consistent execution across regions and functions.
  • Driving continuous improvement informed by Voice of the Customer, cycle performance, stakeholder feedback, data quality trends, and digital, automation, AI‑enabled, and self‑service opportunities.
  • Leading vendor‑management activities, including performance oversight, issue resolution, contract and service expectation alignment, and sustained value alignment.
  • Developing communication andchange‑managementplans to support cycle launches and enhancements, build stakeholder readiness, and increase end‑user adoption.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, plus 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Transformation, or business process management.
  • Demonstrated accountability for end‑to‑end HR process execution in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Experience collaborating at enterprise level with Centers of Excellence, HR Shared Services, IT, Legal, Data/Privacy, and regional teams to design, implement, govern, and continuously improve HR processes.
  • Experience developing and presenting process performance reports, dashboards, KPIs,adoptionmetrics, data‑quality measures, service outcomes, or compliance reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise HRIS platform, plus professional fluency in English.
It would be a plus if you also have:
  • Experience supporting global HR cycles such as Compensation Planning, Performance Management, Talent Assessment, Equity programs, or Benefits Annual Enrollment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience applying digital, automation, analytics, AI‑enabled, or self‑service solutions to improve HR processes.
