Job summary

IQVIA in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a junior BI/analytics professional to support the development of BI solutions for service delivery, managed services, or client implementations. You will analyze basic client problems, develop documentation, and contribute to dashboards built in Power BI.

You will gain exposure to consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical/healthcare life sciences industry while collaborating with Consultants and Engagement Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server: modeling, tabular cubes and ETLs.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals.
• Understanding of fundamental business processes and their impact on decision making, growth and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques in the area.
• Knowledge of current industry developments, competitors and market.
• Knowledge of professional/commercial associations and sector companies.
• Strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and analyzing client requirements or problems.
• Develop detailed documentation and specifications.
• Perform basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to identify issues and propose BI solutions.
• Develop database models and tabular cubes connecting to Power BI dashboards.
• Build basic knowledge of IQVIA services, consulting methodologies, and the life sciences/healthcare industry.
• Begin to develop awareness of IQVIA technologies.

Las asignaciones suelen requerir análisis básico y resolución de problemas, con énfasis en cumplir los compromisos de entrega y servicio de IQVIA hacia los clientes. Contribuye al logro de los objetivos de satisfacción del cliente.

Funciones Esenciales

• Asiste en la revisión y análisis de los requerimientos o problemáticas de los clientes.
• Desarrolla documentación y especificaciones detalladas.
• Realiza análisis cuantitativos o cualitativos básicos para identificar problemas y proponer soluciones de BI.
• Desarrolla modelos de bases de datos y cubos tabulares que se conecten a tableros desarrollados en Power BI.
• Desarrolla un conocimiento básico de los servicios, metodologías de consultoría y de la industria farmacéutica / healthcare / life sciences.
• Comienza a desarrollar conciencia y entendimiento de las soluciones tecnológicas de IQVIA.
• Las responsabilidades asociadas a los proyectos son asignadas y gestionadas de cerca por Consultores, Engagement Managers o Principals.

Requisitos / Calificaciones

• Título universitario (requerido).
• 1 a 3 años de experiencia laboral relacionada (requerido).
• Conocimiento avanzado en SQL Server : armado de modelos, cubos tabulares y ETLs (requerido).
• Conocimiento avanzado en PowerBI (requerido).
• Capacidad para trabajar de manera colaborativa y efectiva con otros equipos de la organización para alcanzar objetivos comunes.
• Conocimiento y comprensión de los procesos fundamentales del negocio, su interacción y el impacto de factores internos y externos en la toma de decisiones, el crecimiento y la disminución.
• Conocimiento de métodos, herramientas y técnicas de consultoría dentro de su área funcional.
• Conocimiento de eventos actuales y desarrollos de la industria, así como de los principales competidores.
• Comprensión del mercado.
• Conocimiento de asociaciones profesionales/comerciales, referentes clave y empresas relevantes del sector.
