Anyone AI Inc. is seeking experienced Python Software Engineers for paid, project-based engagements with a leading AI lab. You will work on clearly scoped software projects including debugging, feature development, refactoring, migrations, testing, and technical review.

This role offers flexible, remote project work alongside other commitments, with per-project compensation and hourly-rate estimates. You can select projects according to availability and work your own schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
• Ability to confidently navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases.
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
• Advanced professional written proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
• Implement new backend or full-stack functionality.
• Refactor and migrate existing systems.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations.
• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
• Validate that requirements, code, tests, and outputs are aligned.
