Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based client and work remotely with LATAM teams. The role focuses on turning large consumer/retail data into actionable insights using SQL, Python, and ML methods. Open to recent graduates or mid-level analysts with strong quantitative backgrounds.

You will translate complex results into clear summaries for stakeholders in English, supporting dashboards and recurring reports across international teams.

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills with complex JOIN logic and CASE WHEN.
• Python for data cleaning and processing with pandas.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels.
• Experience with messy text fields and data normalization concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate machine learning, predictive, or statistical matching models.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate raw data to calculate core business metrics.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review outputs, perform data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Use conditional logic to segment data and isolate tracking cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
