Prometeo Talent is recruiting for a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based client focused on marketing effectiveness measurement. The role involves turning large consumer and retail datasets into clear, actionable metrics and insights.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL and Python skills, a numbers-driven mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical results into concise summaries for stakeholders in English.

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills with JOIN, aggregations, and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing with pandas.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for ML or predictive models.
• Experience cleaning and parsing text fields and pattern matching.
• Understanding of relational database design and normalization.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsabilités

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate ML, predictive, or statistical matching models to uncover consumer insights.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate data to calculate core business metrics such as market trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review outputs, perform data audits, ensure data integrity before insights.
• Use conditional logic to segment data and identify cohorts.
• Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured or semi-structured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear written summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
