Job summary

Prometeo Talent is recruiting a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a remote LATAM role. You will work with large consumer/retail datasets, translating complex database structures into clear business metrics and stakeholder-ready insights.

The ideal candidate has solid SQL and Python skills, strong numbers sense, and can present results in English. Open to recent graduates through mid-level analysts with quantitative backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus coursework in database management or data analysis.
• 0–4 years of Data Analysis/Analytics experience; entry-level welcome.
• Strong SQL with complex joins and conditional logic; Python for data cleaning and manipulation.
• Experience with clean, well-documented data pipelines and building dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and run SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud warehouses.
• Develop and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to uncover consumer behaviors.
• Aggregate data to compute market metrics such as household penetration and trends.
• Create and maintain data tables and views feeding recurring dashboards.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for stakeholders in English.
