Job summary

Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based marketing effectiveness company to hire a Data Analyst (Machine Learning). This 100% remote role welcomes candidates across LATAM who can translate data into actionable insights using SQL, Python, and ML techniques.

The team collaborates globally and communicates in English. You will develop ML models, query large-scale datasets, and deliver dashboards and summaries for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with coursework in database management or quantitative data analysis.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Solid SQL skills with complex joins, aggregations, and CASE WHEN logic.
• Python for data cleaning, manipulation, and processing (pandas).
• Experience with ML libraries to build/predict models and evaluate performance.
• Experience handling messy text data and reporting results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate machine learning, predictive, or statistical models to uncover consumer behaviors and forecast trends.
• Slice and aggregate data to calculate core metrics like market share and purchasing trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review outputs, perform data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Segment data using conditional logic to isolate tracking cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data for downstream use.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for stakeholders in English.
