Job summary

Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer for a fully remote, contractor role (~15 hours per week). You will contribute to an AI training project focused on software development, debugging, code evaluation, and technical problem-solving.

The ideal candidate brings extensive full-stack experience across Python, JavaScript, React, and APIs. Responsibilities include building features, APIs, data models, and reviewing AI-generated code for security and performance.

Qualifications

Proven full-stack development experience across frontend and backend.
Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and architecture.
Experience debugging code and improving software quality.
Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and debug front-end and back-end applications.
Build features, APIs, services, and data models.
Understand and work across unfamiliar codebases.
Troubleshoot application, API, database, and integration issues.
Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
Translate and adapt software builds between programming languages.
