Job summary

Chevron is seeking a seasoned engineer to design and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies in the El Trapial Field. You will lead OE execution, interpret monitoring data, and drive cost-effective improvements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Role requires a petroleum/chemical/industrial engineering background with at least 5 years in chemical treatment, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control.
• Intermediate English required; advanced English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
• Interpret monitoring data and adjust analyses and programs accordingly.
• Lead field OE execution with strong safety focus and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor contractor performance through daily field visits and coordination with O&M and labs.
• Forecast operating costs and manage field chemical storage and dosing.
