Job summary
Yo Ai Labs is seeking an experienced Equity Research Expert contractor to contribute to a customer project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, earnings analysis, and sector insights. This remote role leverages your expertise to evaluate real-world equity research content and help train next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required. You will review datasets, analyze earnings, and develop investment theses while communicating insights clearly to drive project
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Sell-Side Research Associate, Research Analyst, VP, or Director.
- Experience covering multiple companies across several earnings cycles.
- Strong understanding of business drivers, financial performance, and valuation.
- Deep sector expertise in banking, insurance, biotech, technology, or similar industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research.
- Experience developing and defending investment theses and research views.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate equity research datasets for accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze earnings reports, revise estimates, and benchmark peers.
- Evaluate financial models: revenue, margins, cash flow, valuation drivers.
- Prepare concise research summaries and event-driven updates.
- Develop and articulate investment theses using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Identify industry trends, sector metrics, and company catalysts.
- Provide feedback to improve research quality.
