Job summary

Careerflow Human Data Labs seeks Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics experts to design challenging genomics tasks for GeneBench Pro. You will create realistic problems requiring AI to interpret data, write and execute code, and produce verifiable outputs.

The role focuses on self-contained analyses with Python, PLINK 2.0, and standard tools, delivering reproducible workflows and ground truths in a fully remote, international setting.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent research experience in bioinformatics/computational biology.
• Strong hands-on Python programming experience.
• Experience analyzing genomics datasets and working in Linux/CLI environments.

Responsibilities

• Design novel, model-challenging tasks in computational genomics and bioinformatics.
• Develop tasks requiring multi-step analyses using Python and command-line tools.
• Create clear task specs, input datasets, and expected output schemas.
• Develop reproducible reference solutions and pipelines that run in the Python stack.
• Validate tasks for scientific accuracy and solvability from provided data.
• Communicate progress and requirements to project leads and reviewers.
