AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to transform large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. You will build dashboards and reports, and ensure data accuracy across data models and calculations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, requirements gathering from customers, and delivering compelling narratives that influence business decisions.

Competenze

• 5+ years of SQL development experience with large datasets
• 3+ years of Tableau development including maintaining or migrating models
• Hands-on Python development experience
• Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code or Cursor)
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Ability to validate data models and calculations for reporting

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including hands‑on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands‑on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands‑on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor, across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for running ad‑hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• Upper‑intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.
