Anyone Ai Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build scalable systems from the ground up in a 100% remote setup with LATAM flexibility.

The role combines backend expertise in Java and Python with ownership mindset, designing and maintaining distributed services, and collaborating with a fast-moving, highly technical team. Experience with AI/LLM-based development is highly valued.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Python, building and maintaining production-grade backend systems.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based application development (AI agents, agentic systems, or LLM-powered applications).
• Experience building AI-driven features, LLM integrations, or agentic workflows in production environments is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalable architectures, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience working with databases, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for engineers who combine deep backend expertise with a strong ownership mindset. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems while collaborating with a highly technical and fast-moving team.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java and Python , enjoys solving complex engineering problems, and embraces AI-assisted development workflows to increase productivity without compromising quality.

• Experience in cybersecurity products or security-focused platforms.

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.

• Experience building large-scale distributed data processing systems.

• Background in high-growth startups or scale-ups.

• Previous experience in large technology companies
