Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio, leading cross‑functional programs spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations to keep critical products shipping on schedule and customers protected.

You will align multiple Agile teams, manage dependencies, and provide clear status updates to senior leadership while mentoring mid‑level program managers.

Qualifications

• 7 years of program management experience in a software or product engineering organization.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and the ability to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience working with multiple Agile teams at scale - familiar with scaled Agile frameworks and cross-team coordination practices such as Scrum of Scrums.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication skills - able to present complex information clearly to audiences at all levels.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence; proficient with dashboards and program metrics.
• Able to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities with a clear head and sound judgment.

• Engage with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors, providing clear visibility into program status and risks.
• Evaluate scope changes and shifting priorities, communicating impact clearly and aligning teams on the path forward.
• Build and maintain proactive risk management practices across all programs.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to building a high‑performing, collaborative team.
