Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Medical Director specialized in Psychiatry to serve as a global/regional Medical Advisor on assigned projects. The role requires a Medical Degree, Psychiatry board certification, strong English skills, and 3–5 years in clinical trials within pharma or CRO.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Specialty board certification in psychiatry.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• 3–5 years of experience supporting clinical trials in pharma or CRO.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as global/regional Medical Advisor on assigned projects; back-up support as needed.
• Provide medical support to investigative sites and project staff for protocol-related issues including clarifications and eligibility.
• Contribute to medical review of protocol, IDB/CRFs where applicable.
• Deliver therapeutic area training for project teams.
• Attend Investigator Meetings and represent medical input as required.
• Review adverse events (AEs) and, if needed, SAE documentation with Pharmacovigilance.
