Job summary

FutureProofing is seeking an Applied AI/ML Engineer to design, implement, and ship production-ready AI/ML solutions within client product teams in a remote contract role. You will work with cross-functional partners to understand requirements, select models, develop end-to-end pipelines, and integrate AI components into existing systems.

You will train and evaluate models, analyze data, and optimize performance for scalability and cost.

Qualifications

• Strong CS foundation and scalable software design.
• Experience in pattern recognition and statistics for data analysis.
• Hands-on with neural networks and ML frameworks for training and deployment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Python/Go/Java/C++) and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production-ready AI/ML solutions within client product teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand requirements and models.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and architecture discussions.
• Own deliverables and continuously improve tooling and workflows for applied AI.
