Job summary

Citi is seeking a Regulatory and Credit Risk Officer in Argentina to monitor regulatory developments and provide risk analytics across Citibank products. The role supports regulatory project management, data quality and governance, and risk oversight at multiple levels.

The candidate will assess risk in decision making, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with local regulations while aligning with corporate policies and risk management lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years relevant experience.
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work autonomously within a complex organization.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, bank and capital markets products.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, and knowledge of compliance policies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to executive management implications of existing and opposed regulations and develop responses.
• Provide risk strategic analytics and information management across Citibank products.
• Provide regulatory risk project management support for regulatory solutions (stress tests, CCAR).
• Perform business analysis to respond to regulatory and business questions with portfolio insights.
• Perform data analysis to monitor data quality and completeness.
• Assess risk in decision making, safeguarding Citi's reputation and assets.
• Escalate and resolve franchise-level risk issues promptly.
• Support RMCO for franchise level risk issues.
• Ensure risk oversight at legal vehicle and subsidiaries when used by multiple product groups.
• Produce credit and exposure analyses to ensure appropriate risk exposure.
• Review, challenge and approve local credit processes per corporate policies.
